DSSC Strengthens QA Efforts Through AUN-QA Training

Davao del Sur State College attended the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance Tier 1 Training held in Iloilo City from February 9 to 13, 2026. Only 19 higher education institutions were selected nationwide for the training, and DSSC was included among the participating schools. In attendance were Dr. Ana Marie J. Matalines, Director of the International Affairs and Relations Office, and Prof. Michelle Alcebar.

In adherence to the directive outlined in the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Memorandum Circular No. 24-004, mandating the translation of the one-page Freedom of Information (FOI) Manual into Filipino, in compliance with Executive Order No. 335, s. 1988, which promotes the use of the Filipino language in government transactions, and Executive Order No. 2, s. 2016, which operationalizes the People’s Constitutional Right to Information, DSSC has initiated the necessary steps to translate its FOI manual accordingly. By adhering to the PCO’s guidelines, the college ensures that its FOI process is accessible and understandable to the public, further promoting openness and responsiveness in public service.
