DSSC continues to broaden research, extension collaboration

 

Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) hold the collaborative meeting with the Programma Uitzending Managers (PUM) Experts from the Netherlands, University of Southern Mindanao (USM), and Agricultural Training Institute - International Training Center on Pig Husbandry (ATI-ITCPH), on September 15, 2022, at DSSC Conference Hall.

 

The meeting discussed the possible collaboration of the college in the field of research and extension.

 

Dr. Augie E. Fuentes, DSSC President welcomed Mr. Herman Snoek, PUM Expert from the Netherlands; Dr. Geoffray R. Atok, USM Vice-President for Academic Affairs; ATI-ITCPH Director Rene Santiago, DVM, MSc; SOXAARRDEC Consortium Director Dr. Josephine R. Migalbin; and other Officials from USM.

 

With the desire to develop a strong collaborative partnership, each of the parties inked a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to further enrich research and extension programs and projects on crops and animals through collaborative linkages and partnership in the promotion of academic, research, training, and scientific exchanges through mutual assistance.

 

Meanwhile, externally and internally funded projects, and research agenda were presented as well as the future plans and possibilities.

 

Present also in the meeting were Dr. Siverlyn M. Camposanao, DSSC Vice Prrsident for Academic Affairs; Dr. Luciano D. Nasibog, DSSC Chief Administrative Officer; Dr. Mark Jude F.
