DSSC hosts the launching of Regional Center of Expertise (RCE)


Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) hosted Regional Center of Expertise (RCE) Launching and Planning together with State Universities and Colleges (SUC), partnered organizations and agencies across Region XI to share best practices in Educational on Sustainable Development (ESD) to establish communities of practice towards the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), on November 18, 2022, at DSSC Board Room.


A Joint of Commitment for collaboration on ESD was also signed by DSSC and partner agencies.


The University of Southeatern Philippines (USeP) was represented by Mr. Francis N. Reginio; Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) was represented by Ms. Junarie Joy M. Tuba; Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) represented by Dr. Jesebel R. Besas; Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) represented by Mr. Jhonnel P. Villegas and Ms. Vanessa E. Asaias; University of Mindanao Davao College represented by Mr. Melchizedek John S. Bañas; Department of Science and Technology XI (DOST-IX) and Help Davao Network (HDN) represented by Ms. Ritz Angelica P. Soriano; Southern Mindanao Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research & Development Consortium (SMAARRDEC) represented by Dr. Evelyn Gecale; OCEANA represented by Ms. Mae Chatto; Province of Davao del Sur represented by Ms. Evelyn S. Marcos; DENR-ARDEC represented by Ms. Araceli dela Cruz and Ms. Estrella Rafil; and DIDP represented by Mr. Roderick Aviles.


RCE XI constituted as regional coordinating and monitoring mechanism, which shall oversee the implementation of SDG programs and projects. (Shawn Medina/DSSC-PAO)
