"Faithfulness" is a timely proposition presented during the Monday Convocation of the Davao del Sur State College on May 22, 2023, at the DSSC gymnasium as newly hired administrative personnel and faculty members took oath under the administration of DSSC president Dr. Augie E. Fuentes.

During her welcome address, Dr. Fuentes announced the recent success of the ceremonial turnover of the E-Bamboo processing hub at Kapoc Matanao, where she highlighted the effort of the Upscaling Bamboo Rural Enterprise and Development (BREAD) Project Team under the leadership of Dr. Grace Caballero.

Dr. Fuentes congratulated the Institute of Teachers Education under Dr. Cindy B. Rosil for the recent success of DSSCs Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) takers on March 2023, for achieving passing rates surpassing the national passing rate.

Introduced by the Human Resource Management Office head, Engr. Clara Acebes, the official oath-taking of the twelve (12) newly hired administrative personnel and faculty members took place and was administered by the DSSC President herself, Dr. Augie E. Fuentes.

Meanwhile, the updates from the Institute of Business and Governance, who sponsored the ceremony, were delivered by IBEG Dean Dr. Zandro P. Ibañez, who reported all activities and accomplishments achieved by the Institute as of May 2023.
