Davao del Sur State College joined the kickoff implementation of the regionally-conceived CHED XI RankEd Program: Empowering HEIs Through Quality Management Systems (Series 1 – Mind Setting towards Institutional and Program Accreditations, and International Recognitions), led by CHED RO XI, in cooperation with Lyceum of the Philippines – Davao, at the Freedom Hall, Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) -Davao, Davao City, on December 11, 2023.

Bannering “Empowering HEIs Through Quality Management Systems”, the event was subtitled "Series 1: Mind Conditioning Towards Institutional and Program Accreditations, and International Accreditations."

According to Ched-RO XI, the program intends for HEIs to appreciate the benefits of Institutional and Program Accreditations, and International Recognitions, such as the ISO: 21001 Management Systems for Educational Organizations, Institutional Sustainability Assessment (ISA), ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA), and International Rankings, to the HEIs and for the higher education (HE) sector in Davao Region.

Attended by numerous HEI Presidents, VP Academic Affairs, IQA focal, the event gave DSSC the opportunity to engage and exchange knowledge with other local and international experts in Philippine HE sector’s QA systems.

Present on the event were DSSC President, Dr. Augie E. Fuentes, accompanied by VPAF Dr. Luciano D. Nasibog Jr., and QA Head, Roayda S. Hasim.
