Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) sponsored the Monday Convocation of the Provincial Capitol of Davao del Sur today, May 20, 2024, at the Davao del Sur Sports Coliseum, Gov. Douglas Ra. Cagas Sports and Business Center, in Matti, Digos City.

During the convocation, DSSC President Dr. Augie E. Fuentes presented the college’s accomplishments for the year 2024. Her presentation highlighted significant achievements in several key areas: Instruction, Administration and Governance, Research and Extension, and Internationalization. Dr. Fuentes affectionately referred to these collective successes as “DSSC’s achievements as a family,” underscoring the collaborative efforts of the entire college community.

In her closing remarks, Hon. Governor Yvonne Roña Cagas of the Province of Davao del Sur, firmly set the province’s support, stating “as long as we can do it, we will support DSSC”.
