Fuentes Participates in Crucial Meeting to Finalize OSS Modules with Key Officials

 

 

 

On May 22, 2024, Dr. Augie E. Fuentes, the President of Davao del Sur State College, met with Dr. Mamuro Miyamoto, an official from ICHARM, to finalize the Online Synthesis System (OSS) Modules for Davao del Sur and Davao de Oro.

 

The meeting was organized by Dr. Della Grace G. Bacaltos, the DCC Research Director/OSS Project Leader, and it was also attended by Anthony C. Sales, the DOST XI Director; Mayan Inni, the DOST XI ARD; and Dr. Ludy Porticos, the UIC-SRC Director.

 

The project's goal is to use Science and Technology to minimize water-related disasters like heavy rainfall, floods, drought, and landslides. This system will supply policymakers and disaster managers with the essential information needed to make well-informed decisions.
