Davao del Sur State College - Business Enterprise Office spearheaded the Signing of Memorandum of Agreement between DSSC and Income Generating Project Leaders on June 24, 2024.

 

 

The implementation of various Income Generating Projects (IGPs) helps the college to increase its limited resources and serves support to instruction, research, and extension activities of the college. It also serves as a venue for research, extension and training activities of students and faculty/staff and as a model for farmers and other constituents in the community. To intensify its significant contribution for the college, new Income Generating Projects (IGP) were approved and are set to be implemented.

 

 

Davao del Sur State College headed by President Augie E. Fuentes, Ph.D. granted the following internally-funded projects:

 

• " DSSC Rice Project";

 

• Income Generation in Hot Chilli (Siling Labuyo) Intercrop with Red Lady Papaya";

 

• "Mushroom Chips Productiomn";

 

• The Green Gold: Bamboo Nursery Generating Project;

 

• Student-Led Vegetable Production for Income Generation; and

 

• Development of DSSC's Cacao-based Products.

 

 

These projects aim to uphold DSSC's mandates in science, agriculture, forestry, fisheries, engineering, and other fields crucial for socio-economic development of Davao del Sur.

 

 

The college community served as witnesses, as the proponents of newly approved IGPs signed the MOA with the College President, Dr. Augie E. Fuentes, Vice President for Administration and Finance, Dr. Luciano D. Nasibog Jr, DBA and the Business Enterprise Coordinator, Mr. Jammy S. Francisco.
