𝗠𝗢𝗔 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗟𝗚𝗨- 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗦𝗦𝗖 and 𝗠𝗢𝗨 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗪𝗚 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗨𝗧 𝗧𝗨𝗡𝗔 𝗟𝗖𝗔

Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) entered into a Memorandum of Agreement with LGU Matanao on July 11, 2024 at LGU Matanao Session Hall.
The Signing Ceremony commenced with an opening remarks by Municipal Vice Mayor Irick A. Agbon followed by an inspirational messages from the DSSC President Dr. Augie E. Fuentes and Municipal Mayor Vincent F. Fernandez.
The following officials also gave special messages: CENRO- Digos Chief CDS Atty. , NCIP-Matanao Head Ma. Pacita Dela Victoria, Tribal Chieftain Bae Mary Ann Catiawan, PNP Matanao Chief of Police P/MAJ Jeffmar T. Tecero and 39th Infantry Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Anthony Fer S. Solano.
DSSC represented by Dr. Augie E. Fuentes and LGU Matanao represented by Hon. Mayor Vincent F. Fernandez agreed to form an alliance and work together to achieve a common goal and pursue the Declaration of "Altut Tuna" as a conservation area of Matanao, Davao del Sur.
DSSC as a governmental education institution, plays a vital role in catalyzing, innovating and providing technical support and offers its expertise by spearherading the Technical Working Group.
Moreover, LGU- Matanao pledged to contribute the sum of Php 300,000.00 as budget for the necessary activities of the Technical Working Group.
The parties shall cooperate, collaborate and share human resources, technical, material and financial resources to ensure effective, efficient and sustainable management for declaring "Altut Tuna" as a conservation area of Matanao Davao del Sur.
