Overview
Our institute always aims to deliver high quality instructions and services not only to the students but also to the community through knowledge production and innovation.
It is not beyond anyone’s knowledge that the Institute of teacher education has been a home to a lot of high performing faculties, staffs, and students. Hence the creation of our logo that highlights this:
THE BURNING TORCH
It symbolizes the eternal burning of flame of knowledge and the light that education brings to its students irrespective of any differences. The light of the torch radiates and extends outward reflecting ITED’s mission to reach and serve various stakeholders of the college through knowledge production and innovation.
THE LAUREL WREATH
It symbolizes triumph and eternal glory. The Institute has already produced board top-notchers in the recent history of the college; thus, the symbol of triumph and achievement is included in the logo. Moreover, the symbol of the laurel can mean the hopeful expectation of success. This embodies ITED’s lifelong commitment to provide opportunities to its students to be successful in the field of education and other related field.
THE OPEN BOOK
It is a symbol of lifelong learning and knowledge. It represents the relevant learning that ITED is committed to provide for its students so that they may continue to learn and develop throughout their lives.
FOUR STARS
The stars symbolize the Institute’s excellence in the four core functions of the college: instruction, research, extension, and production. The four stars also signifies how ITED commits itself to be of service to its stakeholders through the four core functions of the college.
THE ROPE
The ITED logo is circle in shape enclosed by a rope and this signifies strength and unity among its personnel and the stakeholders that it serves. This echoes one of the core values of DSSC which is teamwork. Through unity amongst its personnel, the institute commits itself to follow the lead of the mission of DSSC “to provide an Innovative Academic Environment with Highest Standards in Instruction, Research, Extension and Production while preserving the culture and ecosystem for a Transformative experience of our stakeplayers”
