Strengthening Commitments for Sustainable Development: DSSC and DENR Sign Memorandum of Agreement

In a significant stride towards environmental conservation and sustainable development, the Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) joined hands in a formal signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), on December 5, 2023, at Hotel de Crisbelle in Digos City, Davao del Sur.

The primary objective of the event was to solidify the commitment of both organizations towards the sustainable management and development of the Padada River Watershed. The Padada River Watershed plays a pivotal role in the local ecosystem, supporting diverse flora and fauna, providing essential water resources, and contributing to the overall well-being of the community.

The event served as a platform to highlight the shared vision of the DSSC and DENR in fostering responsible environmental stewardship and ensuring the long-term health of the Padada River Watershed.
