DSSC Joins National Consultation on Technology Transfer Policy

 

 
 
 
  
 

Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) participated in the National Consultative Conference on the Unified Technology Transfer and Commercialization Policy on April 3, 2025, at New World Makati, Metro Manila.

 

Led by College President Dr. Augie E. Fuentes, DSSC delegates attended the event organized by DOST-TTCC with support from the British Council. The conference gathered SUCs, policymakers, and industry experts to refine policies on innovation and commercialization. DSSC representatives took part in discussions on strengthening industry-academe collaboration and advancing research-driven economic growth.

 

The consultation highlighted the role of SUCs in technology transfer and commercialization efforts. Dr. Fuentes was joined by DSSC Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Siverlyn M. Camposano, and Institute of Teacher Education (ITEd) Dean, Dr. Cindy B. Rosil, who contributed to discussions on best practices and challenges in research commercialization. The event aimed to develop a more cohesive and effective framework for knowledge and technology transfer in the country.
