Davao del Sur State College’s DARE-GSD Research Center, in partnership with DSSC—Gender and Development, proudly hosted the Women in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Vol. 2: Trailblazers and Innovators Symposium on March 27, 2025, at the DSSC Virtual Library.
The event brought together inspiring, accomplished women from DSSC to celebrate their achievements, share insights, and encourage more women to pursue careers in these fields.
The distinguished resource speakers for the event were: Engr. Clara Acebes, Supervising Administrative Officer, Prof. Exenizer Arcon, IMAS/IGPE Faculty, Rhoda Malik- Hilis, IBEG Research Coordinator and Maritess A. Rulona , MALIT , Board Secretary V.
The event featured engaging talks and discussions. Also, the speakers captivated the audience with their expertise and stories of perseverance, igniting inspiration among attendees.
