The Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) continues to pursue the modernization of science education by providing the faculty members with current knowledge and materials in teaching Physics.

Selected faculty members participated in the capacity-building and reorientation session on laboratory work and equipment management on July 30, 2025 at the Research Laboratory Service Center of the Institute of Mathematics, Arts and Sciences. The training was aimed at perfecting the skills of conducting laboratory classes, handling scientific equipment, and using innovative teaching strategies of the instructors.

Both representatives will also take part in collaborative sessions aligned with SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), engaging with fellow participants from across Southeast Asia to cultivate mutual understanding and shared insights.

Their participation marks another step forward in DSSC’s efforts to build international linkages and integrate global perspectives into its academic and development initiatives.
