Recognition of Excellence: Davao del Sur State College Honored at the EQUATE Awards 2025

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has conferred the Excellence in Quality Assurance in Teacher Education (EQUATE) Award upon Davao Del Sur State College (DSSC) in recognition of its steadfast commitment to maintaining the highest standards in pre-service teacher education.
This distinction underscores DSSC’s adherence to CHED’s rigorous benchmarks, exemplary program accreditation, and outstanding performance in the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT). The award was formally presented on April 2, 2025, at the Manila Hotel, in a ceremony celebrating institutions that exemplify excellence in teacher education.
This achievement reflects the collective dedication of the DSSSC community—faculty, staff, students, and administrators—to academic rigor and quality assurance in shaping future educators.
