BSAB - Bachelor of Science in Agri-Business

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness focuses on creating and going into business in agriculture. It is a system-oriented program, emphasizing the interactions of all activities and factors affecting the manufacture and distribution of farm supplies; production activities on the farm; and the storage, processing, and distribution of farm commodities and items made from them, locally and globally within the context of the country's biophysical, socio-cultural, political, economic environment and development needs.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES 

The Davao del Sur State College Agri-business Major in Entrepreneurship Management students and alumni will be able to manifest the following:

A. Exhibit knowledge of legal and ethical environment influencing agricultural-business organization and shows and shows an understanding and appreciation of the ethical implications of decisions;

B. Appreciate the importance of globalizations and diversity in the modern agriculture business organizations;

C. Develop and apply analytical skills to analyze the current issues occurring in agri-business that may affect the industry in the future;

D. Effectively evaluate the effect of trade policy, common, markets, trading blocks, market instability, commodity problems, trade agreements and environmental regulation on imports and exports in the international trade;

E. Boost social protection programs and help small scale farmers to increase food production; and

F. Recognize that women and men have equal access and control over resources, development benefits and decision-making at all stages of the development process.

BPA - Bachelor of Public Administration

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Bachelor of Public Administration is designed to equip students with essential skills in governance, policy-making, public management, and administrative leadership. The program fosters critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and a strong commitment to public service, shaping future leaders who will drive positive change in society.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

The DSSC Campus Public Administration Program (BPA) alumni after three to five (3-5) years will:

A. Have advanced in a chosen Public Administration practice for different sector of society with professional and responsive professionals;

B. Serve as a catalyst for changes in different organization (including society) through sincere and committed leaders; and 

C. Continuously improve oneself through participation in professional development activities such as training or advance academic studies.

BSAIS - Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information System

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information System is a degree program that combines accounting and information technology knowledge. It aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become competent professionals in the field of Accounting Information Systems, capable of bridging the gap between accounting practices and information technology systems.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

The DSSC Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information System (BSAIS) Program alumni after three to five (3-45) years will: 

A. Employ their expertise and technical proficiency in the areas of financial accounting and reporting, cost accounting and management, management accounting and control, taxation, and accounting information system, they tackle business difficulties and problems from a global and strategic viewpoint;

B. Apply knowledge and skills in conducting Accounting Information System Researches; and

C. Use technology to capture financial and non-financial data, generate report, and make decision in the business; 

Davao del Sur State College, through its International Affairs and Relations Office (IARO), proudly deploys five BS in Agribusiness students to Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Thailand, for the Borderless Student Mobility Program from June 23 to July 18, 2025.
