About DRRMO

The Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (Office) severs as the lead unit of Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) responsible for the development of DRRM - related plans, implementation of  programs, projects and activities for disaster preparedness, prevention, response and recovery  efforts with the academic community.  Guided by Republic Act No. 10121 or the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010, the office ensures that the DSSC and its extension campuses are equipped with the necessary systems and capacities to reduce disaster risks and enhance resilience against both natural and human-induced hazards.
