Boosting Digital Competence: DSSCs DEEP Program Training for Faculty and IT Experts

DSSC is hosting a training on capacity-building for faculty members and IT experts on the Digitally Enabled English Proficiency (DEEP) Program on December 27-28, 2025 at the DSSC Speech Laboratory.

This training, aimed at enhancing digital competencies and English proficiency, is central to DSSC’s vision of achieving international recognition. Through this initiative, faculty and IT staff were trained on integrating the Neo+ software into English language teaching, particularly in general education subjects and the BS English program. Also, it focused on improving instructional delivery and enhancing student engagement using digital tools.

DSSC’s commitment to improving English proficiency and critical thinking is part of its broader mission to prepare students for global challenges. The DEEP program will help foster independent English proficiency and equip faculty with the necessary skills to use technology effectively in their teaching.

The said training is a key step in modernizing DSSC’s teaching methods, positioning the college to provide world-class education and advance its reputation internationally.
