Laging Handa: DSSC Holds Third Quarter Earthquake Drill

Davao del Sur State College conducted the 2025 Third Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill on September 11, 2025, at 3:00 PM. The activity was supervised and evaluated by the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO).

 

The drill tested the preparedness of students, faculty, and staff in the event of a strong earthquake. Evacuation procedures were carried out, and safety protocols were reviewed to ensure that the academic community remains ready for emergencies.

 

Through its regular participation in the nationwide drill, DSSC affirms its responsibility to maintain safety and resilience within the campus. The evaluation by CDRRMO also provided guidance for improving future emergency response.
