Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) hosted the Full Delivery Unit Meeting 2025 on Monday, September 22, 2025, at the DSSC Santa Cruz Extension Campus, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur. The meeting was attended by officials of the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Region XI, Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region XI, as well as, Presidents and Budget Officers of Accountants and Planning Officers of all the State Universities and Colleges (SUC) in the region.

The program formally opened with an invocation and national anthem, followed by welcome addresses from Hon. Jose Nelson “Tata” Sala, Municipal Mayor of Sta. Cruz, and Dr. Augie E. Fuentes, DSSC President. Mr. Gary R. Martel, CPA, MPA, CESO III, Regional Director of DBM XI, delivered the opening remarks.

Key discussions included the Mid-Year Agency Performance Review (APR) Results, updates on National Budget Circulars (NBC) No. 598 and 595-A, and other budget and management concerns presented by DBM specialists. These sessions provided valuable guidance on organizational and staffing standards for SUCs and the proper release of funds for Fiscal Year 2025.

In her closing speech, Regional Director of CHED XI, Dr. Maricar R. Casquejo, CESO III, stressed on the need to have collaboration between DBM, CHED and SUCs in the development of higher education and accountability in the implementation of funds.

DSSC outlined its increasing role as a powerful collaborator in the implementation of efficiency, transparency, and excellence in higher education governance by hosting this year's Full Delivery Unit Meeting.
