The 2025 State Universities and Colleges Teacher Educators' Association (SUCTEA) National Conference and Research Presentation took place from September 22 to 24, 2025, at Diversion 21 Hotel in Iloilo City. Faculty members from Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) attended.

The conference's theme was "Future-Proofing Teacher Education in the 21st Century." It was a chance for colleges and universities from all around the country to share new research that tackles important educational problems and helps make policy changes based on evidence.

 The following faculty members from DSSC gave presentations on their research:

• Amelie E. Trinidad – “A Mixed-Methods Inquiry into Faculty Commitment: Exploring Institutional and Organizational Predictors for Evidence-Based Policy Reforms” which looked at how institutional and organizational factors affect faculty participation.

• Rosemarie N. Busa's "Enhancing Licensure Examination Outcomes: Trends, Challenges, Innovation, and Policy Recommendations" talks about how to improve license examination performance through new policies and best practices.

• Edna A. Cenita wrote "Mediation Analysis of Academic Performance Between Self-Efficacy in STEM Health Studies and Basic Clinical Competence," which looked at the link between students' self-efficacy and their clinical competence in STEM health-related programs.

With the presence of DSSC faculty members to this national conference, it shows that the institution is actively involved in creating and sharing knowledge. DSSC is involved in academic discourses that strive to improve policies and practices in Philippine higher education by doing research that addresses current concerns in teacher education.
