DSSC signs MoA with CMU on LUDIP
Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) and Central Mindanao University (CMU) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) on Capacitating Philippine State Universities and Colleges in Sustainable Land Use Development and Infrastructure Planning (LUDIP) program.
The MoA signing took place on January 8, 2022 at the Office of President, DSSC main campus, Brgy. Matti, Digos City.
The MoA was signed by Dr. Augie E. Fuentes, DSSC President, and Dr. Jesus Antonio G. Derije, CMU President. This was witnessed by Dr. Alexander M. Campaner, DSSC Assistant to the President for Special Projects and Dr. Jupiter Casas, CMU Research Director/Program Leader.
In this program funded by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), CMU partners with selected 10 State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in Mindanao and DSSC is one of those SUCs who will be assisted in the formulation of its LUDIP.
The program provides a venue for SUCs to come-up with their sustainable, climate change resilient, and disaster risk free comprehensive LUDIP.
By year 2022, LUDIP becomes a mandatory required document for budgetary allocation of the SUCs proposed capital outlay, infrastructure, and facilities.
