The Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) engaged in the Higher Education Partnership Conference (HEPCON) 2025, held on September 26–27, 2025, in Jakarta, Indonesia. Dr. Siverlyn M. Camposano, Vice President for Academic Affairs, represented the College in discussions with global leaders centered on innovation, collaboration, and sustainability in higher education.

The conference convened over 100 Indonesian colleges alongside representatives from over 20 countries. It served as a platform to promote academic exchanges, foster collaborations, and align universities with global development goals.

The primary topics discussed at HEPCON 2025 correspond with DSSC's institutional goals. This includes the advancement of SDG 4: Quality Education, emphasizing the development of globally competent educators and administrators; SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, highlighting the importance of research and technology in addressing societal challenges; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, which stresses collaboration as essential for collective progress and sustainable development.

Through participation in the conference, DSSC gains the opportunity to evaluate worldwide practices, improve research and extension initiatives, and establish connections that further its mission of delivering inclusive, transformative, and forward-thinking education.
